Generally – there are plenty of health resorts all over Romania. The capital of this country is Bucharest. Romanian is the official language used here. Other spoken languages are German and Hungarian. Country situates in the Southeastern Europe. Little by little Romania started to recover from its gloomy past.

May, June, September and October are the perfect month for visiting Romania. Fall and spring are the most pleasant months. The climate of this country may be defined as moderate. One can notice 4 seasons here. Winters are sometimes severe with heavy snowstorms, especially between December and March. Summers are extremely hot and short and last from July till August. Romania borders Ukraine and Moldova to the northeast, Black Sea, Bulgaria to the south and Hungary and Serbia to the west.

As any other country, Romania has its own traditions which actually don’t differ too much of those, common in all European countries. It is customary to tip up to 10 percent in eateries, hotels and taxis. People dress casually, but conservatively enough here. Smoking is prohibited in cinemas, theatres and buses. Cigarettes, adored by Romanians may be a good present if you are invited in someone’s house. To greet a person a handclasp will do.
