Iceland
A huge island with extraordinary landscape is Iceland. It is colored with a variety of elements: hot blue geysers, rivers, waterfalls, green valley, black lava, red sulfur, fjords and bays. The country is advantageously located between Europe and Greenland. The official language here is Icelandish, but Nordic languages, German are also used. Republic of Iceland is placed in northwestern Europe. The capital of the country and the biggest city is Reykjavík, where approximately half of the Iceland’s population lives. Iceland consists of small islands in the northern Atlantic Ocean between the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Ireland, Norway, Scotland and the island of Iceland.

One of the peculiarities of Iceland is that people here pay a great attention to their exterior. They dress casually. To greet a person handclasp will do. Tipping is not a commonly used practice, because service fees are included in the bills. Iceland, as any other country has a lot of customs and behavioral rules, which must be strictly followed, especially while being invited at somebody’s house.
Everybody who wants to visit Iceland has a lot of great thing to do, while being there. If one wants to reach Iceland, the best way to do it is to travel by air. Key airport in Island is Keflavik International Airport (KEF). It is placed at 31 miles south of Reykjavik. There is a multitude of airlines, operating from Iceland, for example and Iceland Express or Air Greenland, but the national airline is Icelandair.
