There are a lot of places of interest in Brazil, as natural as architectural. Rio-de-Janeiro (means “January river”) it is the ex capital and the most visited place in Brazil. Noisy, cosmopolitan and ever glorious Rio is amazing with its mixture of ultramodern architecture and poverty “favel”, luxurious beaches, and resorts with an amazing temperament of local people and phlegmatic mood of police officers, with a variety of plants and lots of exotic flowers everywhere around.
The so called visit card of this city is the statue of Jesus Christ (the difference between two opened hands is about thirty meters) on the Corcovado Mountain, (which is a part of Tijuki national park, who’s area is a little bit bigger than three thousands of hectares), who’s hands are sort of guarding the whole city. Near the entrance to the Guanabura Bay, there is another symbol of the city- Pau-di –Asucar rock (which is translated like “sugar head”, and whose height is approximately three hundred ninety five meters), with a rope road climbing to its top. The old city is filled with buildings in the colorful colonial style –Customs, docs, Arsenal, Stock Market, Largu-di- Botecaru square, national academy of Art, city avenues, the roads of the Santa Theresa block, Arses di Lapa, which was built in one thousand seven hundreds thirty second year, the museum- castle of emperor Juan the eighteenth in Kinta Boa Vista, emperor’s castle on the “Fifteenth November’ square (nowadays it is a cultural center situated there), Tiradentis castle (today here is placed the Law-abiding Gathering of Rio di Janeiro) and many others picturesque buildings.

Here also are situated the majority of Rio museums, such as: Museum of Modern Art, Carmen Miranda’s museum, museum of local art, museum of the second world war in Flamengu park, museum of town’s history in the San Vicente ex residence, National museum of Fine Arts, museum of Indians, historical museum, national museum in the ex emperor’s castle in Kinta Boa Vista, Republican museum in the old presidential castle building, museum of stones, Shakara du Sau museum which is situated in a nice building with towers, National library, botanical museum and the library on the museum’s territory, Bancu du Brazil cultural center and many, many others and also almost all the theaters in town. In the so called “New City” the monetary yard is very interesting, also it is very interesting to see the old prison, and the house for people with the limited abilities.

Also a variety of colonial churches and monasteries in the San-Bentu city (1617-1693) are capturing our attention, San-Antoniou church of the eighteenth century, Monastery of Capuchins (earlier it was the emperor’s residence), the church of Lampedos Saint Marie (it was built in one thousand nine hundred twenty ninth year), church of God Cherishment (it was built in one thousand seven hundred fourteenth year), museum of religion art, Saint Lucy’s church (it was built in one thousand seven hundred thirty second year) with an unique natural fountain which water is considered as being curing, archiepiscopal cathedral (it was built in the year one thousand eight hundred eighth year) on the Fifteen of November square where all the crown ceremonies were held, monastery and Carmelite’s church were situated nearby (in the sixteenth century, also there was a morocco church of Francis Order, Santa-Cruz-Du-Militaries church of the eighteenth-nineteenth century and many, many others.
But the real glory was brought to the city its famous beaches such as Copacabana, Ipanema and Lebnon, each of them is a center of community and resort life, and also less famous throughout the world beaches such as Botafogu, Lemma, Arpoador, Vidigal, Peppino-San-Conrad, Barra-Di –Tijuka, Recreu-Dus-Bandeirantes, Grumary and others, the majority of which are not worse than the famous Copacabana (the length of beaches is more than ninety kilometers).

It is interesting to visit Botanical garden 9which was found in one thousand eighth year) with its famous palm alley, in which were gathered more than seven thousands of plant species from the whole world, zoo, one of the biggest world stadiums- “Maracana” which was built in one thousand nine hundred fifty year, the famous Rio bridge, modern business center or to watch from the city hills height an amazingly beautiful Guanabara bay, to ride the old “bondinius’-trains, and mini trains of the late nineteenth century which were connecting the most popular spots in the city.
As about the nightlife in Rio-di –Janeiro, it is another theme. Hundreds and thousands of night clubs and bars, a variety of shows, discotheques, and restaurants are situated right on the coasts, the charascariush barbecue and small fast foods ( no matter of their size, in the majority of them their own shows are held) they are situated literally in each house on the coast. And of course the samba schools and the famous Carnival, to which the Brazilians where preparing the whole year.
San Paulo.
San Paulo is the greatest industrial center of the country and of the whole Latin America. It is the third due to size mega polis in the world, and it leaves a dual impression- from one side it is quite grey and it cannot be said that it has a lot of beautiful places around. And from the other side- such a mixture of everything you will not be able to meet anywhere else in America. “Latin-American Chicago” as it is often called was all built inside with sky scratches made of steel and glass, factories, offices, and quite old living blocks which are populated with approximately thirteen million of people. Here it is a significant mixture of races and nations, of cultures and religions, of customs and traditions from all the corners of planet.
Also it is interesting the museum of modern art (one of the biggest in the world), the famous stadium “Pakaembu”, Museum of Art, State National Gallery, Impirahnia museum, museum of Brazilian history in the independence park, Jak Adieus gallery, Noosa-Dama-Brazil church, Ibirapauera park with the area approximately one thousands of hectares, Japanese and Chinatown block, Zoo with an unique collection of tropical birds, reptile national park and at the same time the unique Center of medical researches “Butanta”, “green areas” , Alameda Santos and Murrumba. Not far away of the city are situated Ubatuba and Ilea Bella resort areas.
